Application Process

Step-1: Visit the official website ( https://www.pmsuryaghar.gov.in/ )

Step-2: Provide the following details for registration.

  • Select your State

  • Select your Electricity Distribution Company

  • Enter your Electricity Consumer Number

  • Enter Mobile Number

  • Enter Email

  • Please follow as per the direction from the portal.

Step-3: Login with Consumer Number & Mobile Number

Step-4: Apply for the Rooftop Solar as per the form

Step-5: Fill out the online application form

Step-6: For financial assistance click on bank loan segment and apply for loan in any of the listed bank on the portal

Step-7: Feasibility will get auto approval from DISCOM. Please select one of the registered vendors in your DISCOM

Step-8: Contact the selected vendor and make the payment to proceed further for Installation and commissioning of the required Solar Power Plant at your residence

Step-9: After installation of Solar Power Plant by the vendor, net metering and inspection will be done by DISCOM. They will generate commissioning certificate from the portal.

Step-10: Once you get the commissioning certificate. Submit the bank account details and a cancelled cheque through the portal. You will receive your subsidy in your bank account within 30 days

PM-KUSUM Scheme

Taking the flagship Government program to farmers in the country PM-KUSUM (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan) Scheme, has been launched by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for setting up subsidized solar pumps and distributed solar power plants across the country. It is one of the biggest initiatives in the world to provide clean energy to more than 3.5 million farmers across India.
